​I have not written in a while. I’ve had so many thoughts, but overwhelmed with our current political situation. My mind has been beyond disturbed. This is the year 2017, but I feel like we have been transported to the year 1960. What if we have been? What if we went through some cosmic black hole and we have to re-live our history? Something happened because my mind tells me this is not natural. Its is not real, but it is, it really is!

My romantic, spiritual and creative juices have been halted. In honor of my poetic mind, I am giving you a glimpse of where my mind has been. I wish I could share how in love I am with my two beautiful daughters or how my man swoons me with his brown eyes, but I unfortunately can’t. I have an unhealthy obsession. 

If I share my trapped Trump mind, hopefully he will be released into a ball of negative thoughts and flown far away from my vibes. The hope is that once he is released like a wild animal, my creative thoughts can sneak back in. 

Now back to my current obsession. This is not an obsession I have chosen like my 14 year old, who cannot stop watching You Tube videos when asked 100 times to get off. Or that delicious chocolate cake that is calling your name. No, this is a political obsession. A sad, unhappy, disturbed obsession. 

It is called a Trump obsession. 

I am in shock and I cannot accept the fact that almost half of the U.S. backs him up. I don’t get it. His followers will say anything to make it seem okay that he grabbed the U.S. and has shook it like a snow globe, each piece falling to the ground opposing his orders. Trump is acting as if nothing (our consititution) and no one (judges) can get between him and his own, personal political agenda. 

This meme tells it all. It has not even been a month and he has written executive orders as if his Presidency was coming to an end (wishful thinking). He has opened the eyes to the American people (one positive) and “The People”, yes I say it loud and proud, “THE PEOPLE”, have gathered in thousands to protest his impulsive orders. 

Before I share the top 3 protests where ” The People” have come together in masses, let me share my all time favorite quote. This was stated 700 years ago. This is proof that humanity has a challenging time accepting our wrongs in order to make changes for a better future. It seems like commen sense, but humans are complex. We are not only an animal species sharing a space on earth, but we have been blessed with a part of our brains that has awakened and can feel emotions. With emotions, comes greed, jealousy and fear with a mix of dominance from our animal side. Anyhow, I digress. 

A man named Dante once said, “The hottest places in hell, are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crises, maintain their neutrality”. I share this great quote today because we are living in a “great moral crises”. This is not a time to be neutral. We have to stand up, speak up and resist our backward thinking of Trump and his ADMINISTRATION and  WE HAVE AND WE WILL RESIST,  unless of course you are a Trumper. In that case, embrace him, but be aware that you will be supporting divisions, hate and irrational orders (Trumpers skip down to “Quote 1”).

 Once upon a time, in the year 2017, masses of American Citizens gathered together to revolt against a President who won the Electoral Vote, not the Popular Vote, but an Electoral Vote that changed the world.

After his official innaguration on January 20, 2017, women, men and their children around the WORLD gathered for one of the largest protests in history. “The Women’s March”, (which yes, I was part of in Los Angeles, California) was officially held in Washington D.C. The turnout was larger than Trumps own innaguration, which he refuses to accept (please note that he has a challenging time accepting anything that is not in his favor). To clarify, this protest was NOT only on Women’s Rights as many Trump Trolls want to argue, it was to awaken Trump and his Administration that The People have heard him and we will NOT stand by and allow him to bully us with his hateful ways (i.e.female reproductive rights, immigration rights, equality among religions). Sister cities across the United States AND THE WORLD (France, U.K, Australia) came together and made waves. It was displayed on all News Channels, on Social Media and in conversations throughout the week. 

This is history. Our sons and daughters will be affected by Trumps orders. He is a man and he wants to make a decision regarding Women’s Productive Rights. Our children’s education will be affected by his choice of Secretary of Education, who is naive and does not know a lick of public education (Betsy Devos). This is why there was a protest. It was a revolt, it was throwing up on his backward thinking. (Pictures taken by myself in Downtown, Los Angeles, January 2017). 

Then there was an Executive Order that came from an insensitive, lack of clear thinking (oh, did I say that out loud) President that banned 7 countries in the Middle East that are seen as “Muslim Countries”from entering the U.S. via airports. This order was based on wanting to “keep America safe from terrorist”. Mind you, this included people who had visas. This included infants and humans who have already established that they were not terrorists! The people once again gathered together and protested at airports across the U.S. The People took this order to court and stopped his Executive Order and our loving world moved on. Oh wait, the world wanted to move on, but as mentioned above, Trump lacks the ability to accept the consensus of The People and the Constitution, so life didn’t smoothly move on. He rejected the Judges order that was based on the Constitution as seen in his Tweet “The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned.” There you have it my fellow humans. Not much can be said after that Tweet and once again, this is the year 2017!

You would think it would end there. Nope. Then there is “The Wall”. This is Trumps idea of stopping illegal immigration coming from the Mexico/U.S. border. I’m sure you’ve read or heard about this “Wall”. 

First, Trump demanded that Mexico pay for this wall in which they rightfully refused. Then he said he will tax the American people and Mexico will pay the U.S. back and Mexico once again rightfully refused. This was a joke right? Sadly, this is real! Who does that? I mean, if the world ran like that, everyone would be jacked, literally. He is a thug, attempting to pull a fast one on Mexico.

Sorry Trump, but as much as you look down on Mexicans, as you can see, they are much smarter than you thought! I mean, what did you think? Did you really think they would bow down and say, “Oh OKAY,  Trump. Yeah, you’re right, all of the people that attempt to sneak into your country due to poverty or drug smuggling should be stopped and we will definitely work with you by paying for a wall that we know will NOT stop them”. This is real people. I wish I could make all of this up, but this is real!

Mind you, this is Trumps “idea, not Mexico or the majority of the American people. Finally or finalmente en espanol, he had to scramble on how he will pay for this “wall”, so he stated he will not tax the American people, but instead he will tax all goods coming through the border (which still affects the American people). With that being said, people are not happy with this idea and have protested throughout his campaign and post innaguration. 

I will say it again and again, this is real! This is really happening.

As I enjoy reading reactions for or against  Trump, I found this great response to Trump and his Executive Orders. I did not write this, but I would like to share this women’s rebuttal as she wrote exactly what I am thinking:
